Life in the big city. Thomas is a young artist, broke and unattached. Laetitia is an attrac- tive, intelligent young woman in high heels. A party. A dance. An invi- tation. The pair spend the night together – vacillating between hospi- tal and bed, between light-heartedness and high drama. They are the bright stars that give paintings their depth.
